Home Based Personal Care

Attendant Care

United Rehabilitation Services’ Attendant Care Program serves Montgomery County residents, age 18 and older with disabilities. Trained attendants provide assistance in the home with basic personal care, grooming, housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry. Our professional staff, working with the client and their families, creates a plan to meet the needs of each individual.

Respite Care

Respite Care provides short-term temporary relief for families of children or adults with special needs. Respite is designed to give families a break from the stress of providing daily care giving. Caregivers are often ‘sandwiched’ between the special needs of their loved one, a job, and other family responsibilities. This can bring on stress-related illness and problems.

Waiver Services

Home based waiver services enable individuals to live and participate in the community. Through this program individuals are provided support in their own home. Waiver services are built around the needs of the individual. An Individual Services Plan (ISP) will be developed for each person receiving waiver services. Trained personal care attendants provide assistance in the home with basic personal care, grooming, housekeeping, meal preparation, community outings and laundry or any other activity that enables the individual to live and work in the community.
