Job Retention
← Back to Community Employment Services Page
Job Retention is provided when an individual has obtained a job in the community but still requires some support and mediation. It is intended to provide less intensive job supports once the job coach has transitioned out of the job site. During this phase, the provider staff will maintain contact with the employer, individual, and supports. The length of job retention is determined by the individual needs and VR (Vocational Rehabilitation) staff such as the Referring Counselor. The outcome of this service is that the individual will successfully maintain employment.
