Lead Teacher

Lead Teacher – School-Age/Latchkey – Full-Time

Duties

Responsible for the planning and implementation of coordinated educational, physical, and social activities for the School-age/Latchkey group of children.  Provide personal care and assistance to children as needed (feeding, toileting, etc.).  Complete required documentation in a timely manner as required meeting all necessary guidelines.  Provide guidance and supervision to assigned Classroom staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or closely related field.  2-4 years previous child care experience in a supervisory/management role and experience with children with disabilities or a special need in a childcare setting is highly preferred.  Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.  Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License; must be in compliance with Agency insurance carrier requirements, must meet all requirements necessary to provide non-medical and/or HPC transportation according to the Ohio Department of Development Disabilities. Certification in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and Communicable Diseases are required.  Training hours as required by State of Ohio Licensing, Step Up to Quality and United Rehabilitation Services must also be completed annually.

 

Lead Teacher – Infant – Full-Time

Responsible for the planning and implementation of coordinated educational, physical, and social activities for the Infant classroom.  Provide personal care and assistance to children as needed (feeding, toileting, etc.).  Complete required documentation in a timely manner as required meeting all necessary guidelines.  Provide guidance and supervision to assigned Classroom staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or closely related field.  2-4 years previous child care experience in a supervisory/management role and experience with children with disabilities or a special need in a childcare setting is highly preferred.  Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.  Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License; must be in compliance with Agency insurance carrier requirements, must meet all requirements necessary to provide non-medical and/or HPC transportation according to the Ohio Department of Development Disabilities.
