Lead Job Coach -Full Time

Duties

Under the direction of the Community Employment Supervisor, provide direct supervision to the Job Coaches.  Assist persons with a variety of disabilities in adjusting to a job or other work experience.  Provides both off/on-site support, coordination, and linkage to community resources for clients and Agency.  Observes and evaluates client performance, behavior, social development, and physical health on/off-site.  Assists in orienting the client at the work site and provides on-going monitoring for the client.  Acts as a liaison between the client and advocates for the client as needed.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Rehabilitation or a closely related field with 2-4 years of supervisory experience in Vocational Rehabilitation setting or a closely related field are required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Must have reliable transportation and ability to work a varied schedule as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license; must be in compliance with Agency insurance carrier guidelines and must meet all requirements necessary to provide non-medical and/or HPC transportation according to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.   Excellent written, oral, electronic and interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational skills are required.  CPR and First Aid training preferred.
