Job Developer – Full Time – Greene, Miami & Montgomery Counties
Duties
The right Job Developer for this position will assist adults with disabilities or other special needs in obtaining community-based employment. Develop job seeking skills, job placement options, and job coaching opportunities. He/she will also provide interventions that assist clients in maintaining employment, such as job/task analyses and skills training. Experience performing evaluations and/or client assessments preferred. Collaboration with BVR and other referring agencies for services needed.
Qualifications
An Associate’s degree in Rehabilitation or related field with 2-4 years recent experience is required. However, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Must have reliable transportation and ability to work a varied schedule as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license and be in compliance with Agency insurance carrier requirements. Must meet all requirements necessary to provide non-medical transportation according to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. Outstanding oral, written, electronic and interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of job related software are essential to this position. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
