I joined URS in April 2014 as the Community Employment Manager, contributing over 16 years’ experience in vocational rehabilitation, mental health and chemical dependency counseling, to the existing expertise of the Community Employment Department. I earned a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling (MRC) degree from Wright State University and possess the following certification and licensure: Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with Clinical Supervisor Endorsement (LICDC-CS). I am an Adjunct Professor for both Wright State and Wilberforce Universities, which allows me to contribute to the enrichment and training of our future rehabilitation professionals. I have always maintained a great passion for working with individuals with disabilities and have made it my personal mission to ensure that individuals have access to life-enhancing services, such as those offered at URS, to achieve their individual goals

Prior to working at URS I held various jobs since the age of 16 as a fast food worker, oil change technician, factory worker, wrap-around child case worker to an OVI intervention instructor! In my off-time I am a busy mom of 2 (soon to be 3) awesome boys and coach their baseball teams every spring. I love being outdoors, playing sports and laughing at a good movie or comedy club. I believe in a person-centered approach to job development and love not only watching our consumers achieve in the workforce, but in their personal lives as well.
