URS provides outpatients physical, occupational, and speech therapies to 1,000 children and adults each year. URS prides itself on being the region’s leader of specialized therapy services.
Our clinic recently added a new therapy modality, the Universal Exercise Unit (UEU), also known as a “spider cage.” The UEU includes a system of pulleys, weights, and bungee cord attachments that allow therapists to isolate and target specific muscle groups and use low-grade resistance to improve muscle strength, flexibility and tone. The UEU also alleviates the gravitational limitation of a more traditional therapy. URS is the only therapy clinic in the region offering this cutting-edge therapy option.
